Town beach north of the leaning lighthouse, with a shallow lagoon inside the reef of the Puerto Morelos Reef National Park. E–SE trades blow side-onshore. Hazards: the reef several hundred metres out, coral heads, fishing and dive boats using the channel, and park rules. Do not ride over the reef. Lessons are offered locally by Pranik Kite Club.
