Shallow sandy beach at the north tip of Isla Mujeres, reached by ferry from Cancún. Best in N–NE nortes, which blow side- to onshore; in E–SE trades the wind comes over the town and is gusty and side-off. Very busy with swimmers, moored boats and ferries nearby, so launch and ride well away from the swim area. Only one 2024 local news report confirms kiting here, so check locally before going.
Guide only. Forecasts, gear sizes and spot notes can be wrong or out of date. Check conditions on the beach, take lessons from a certified instructor, ride within your ability and never ride alone. See the full disclaimer.
