Varadero beach

Long north-facing beach on the Hicacos peninsula that works best in NE–N–NW wind, with choppy water and downwinders along the coast. Flatter water is found behind the point near the marina at the east end. There is no kite rental or repair, so bring your own gear and expect swimmers in front of the hotels.
