The island's only official kite beach, on the south-west coast; the outer reef keeps the water flat and shallow with a sandy bottom in the kite zone. With the trades crossing the island the wind is side/side-offshore, so stay inside the zone and use school rescue cover; kiting is banned at Lac Bay and most other beaches, and the STINAPA nature fee applies.
