A quiet stretch of sand about 1.5 km long, upwind of Silver Rock, with the trades cross-onshore from the left. A reef offshore keeps the middle calmer, which makes it the usual lesson area, while the west end has bigger shore break. Access is by steps down the cliff, there's no lifeguard, and currents can be strong; it's also the start point for downwinders to Silver Rock.
■ Intermediate spot – Exposed to swell; the outer reef breaks on bigger days. Today's rating, which adds wind, gusts and swell, is in the live forecast.
